Dover man sentenced on gun and resisting arrest charges

A man arrested on gun charges reportedly plead guilty and was sentenced in Dover, Thursday morning.
According to officials, Kevon McKinney of Dover, plead guilty to possession of a weapon in a school zone and resisting arrest. McKinney was then reportedly sentenced to five years in prison taken away for 18 months of probation for the gun charge.
For the resisting arrest charge, McKinney was reportedly sentenced to one year in prison removed for one year of probation.
McKinney was arrested in March after police say McKinney ran from officers and past a school bus letting off children. Police say McKinney was armed at the time.
