Dover Downs Lake Forest 14-7

The Dover High School Senators picked up their first win of the season last night over the Lake Forest Spartans, 14-7.

The Spartans got on the board first with a Desaun Bizzell touchdown run in the third quarter. The Senators answered with a Jordan Magee QB keeper to tie it up 7-7. In the fourth quarter, Magee found John Rodel Castro for a 50 yard touchdown pass to secure the Senators’ first and final lead of the game.

Dover will hit the road next week to face the defending state champion Smyrna Eagles. Lake Forest is still on the hunt for their first win of the season and will face Woodbridge High School at home next Friday.
