Carvel hall property available for parking in Crisfield

Due to high water on the streets and properties in Crisfield, the city is making the former Carvel Hall property available for citizens to park on high ground.
According to the city release, this rainfall is expected to crest at 5 feet before the storms are over.
The gate at Carvel Hall opened at noon on Thursday, and it will stay open as long as necessary.
The city says there are no plans to evacuate any areas at this time, however, access to several city streets will be limited to only the residents on those streets as long as there is flooding.
The city reminds people that fast driving through flood waters cause damage to properties causes damages to properties along the street.
