Cancellation of events this Labor Day Weekend

Due to the possibility of storms throughout Labor Day Weekend, some businesses and organizations are calling off their events.

This list will be updated throughout the day as 47ABC receives notices.

• The annual Under the Tent Labor Day Show by the St. Michaels Art League, originally scheduled for Saturday and Sunday over Labor Day weekend, has been cancelled.

• The Laurel Ruritan Club is postponing the chicken BBQ to Monday from 10 AM-1 PM

• Due to the threat of Tropical Storm Hermine, 1st Saturday is cancelled this weekend.

• Labor Day Long Neck Style has been cancelled for this weekend

• Hudson Health Services is hosting their 1st Annual Recovery Month BBQ. The event is now happening at Ssacc instead of Winterplace Park, tomorrow, Saturday September 3rd from 12pm-3pm
