Cambridge SD girls soccer downs Colonel Richardson

The Cambridge SD Vikings girls soccer team defeated Colonel Richardson 5-2. The Colonels move to 1-1 on the season.

The Vikings got on the board first as Regan Jones bounced one off the post and found the back of the net. Then Maddie Christopher took a hard shot, but Vikings goaltender Sabrina Mckelvey made an acrobatic save. The Colonels would eventually get on the board after Kayla Archer found the back of the net off a free kick.  But the Vikings were just getting going as Tiaziah White came up with a big goal for CSD, and then Emily Brohawn would put it away, registering a hat trick in the win.

The Vikings host Mardela on Thursday, while the Colonels host Kent County.
