Arrest warrant served for telephone misuse

On Friday, the Easton Police Department says they served an arrest warrant on a woman from a case stemming back to 2013.
Lynn Helen Wagener, 66, formerly of Port Street in Easton, was reportedly contacted by the Easton police as they were called to check on her welfare at a local hotel.
While there, officers say they check to see if Wagener was wanted, and found that she did have an arrest warrant out. The warrant reportedly formally charges her with one count of harassment and one count of telephone misuse from a case that was first reported back in 2013.
According to the report, the charging document alleges that Wagener constantly called the victim by telephone without any relief for nearly a year and almost non-stop.
Wagener was reportedly taken into custody and was taken to the Easton Police Department. Officials say she was processed on the warrant at the Easton Police Department, and then was taken before a district court commissioner for an initial appearance hearing. Wagener was apparently released on her own personal recognizance at that time pending trial in this matter.
