US 13 Dragway – Results
Beautiful weather brought out a great crowd and a full field of racers and show cars on Sunday for the William J. & Juanita Cathell Memorial 53rd Anniversary Chevy Show, Shine and Drags at the U.S. 13 Dragway.
Former champion and veteran racer, Johnny Ennis of Pocomoke, Md. made a rare start and his first final of the season and he made it count as he headed a tough field of Top ET racers for his first win in several seasons.
Chad Thurman of Seaford took top honors in Mod ET and Roland Byrd of Salisbury, Md. scored his first win this season in Pro Bike.
The 302 List was in action and Takii Smith of Cambridge, Md. drove his Mustang to the win.
Other winners on the day included: Billy McLamb of Delmar, Md. in Street; Sara Davis of Laurel, Del. in Hot Rod; Carter Foskey of Rhodesdale, Md. in Jr. Dragster 1 and Brett Holston of Felton, Del. in Jr. Dragster 2.
