UPDATE: Troopers still seeking help to locate a wanted Seaford woman

The Delaware State Police say they are continuing to seek the public’s help in locating Ashley Gray, 27, of Seaford.

Gray is reportedly wanted by the state police for assault 1st and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony.

According to the report, on Thursday July 21, around 3:30 PM, troopers responded to a residence on Jones Dogwood Drive for a reported assault. Upon their arrival, officials say it was determined that a 53-year-old man had been cut across the neck with some type of cutting instrument after a verbal altercation between him and Ashley Gray became physical. 

Gray reportedly got away after the incident in a grey passenger car and has not been found at this time. The 53-year-old victim was apparently taken to an area hospital where he was admitted due to the severity of his injury, but he has since been released.

Officials say that Ashley Gray may be in the Laurel area, but if anyone has any information on her exact whereabouts, they are asked to contact the Detective M. Doughty at 302-752-3794.
