Update in Damon Jennings murder case

47ABC was in the in courtroom in Somerset County on Tuesday, and has an update in the murder case of 22-year-old Damon Jennings.
The two remaining suspects in the murder case of Damon Jennings, whose body was found in Somerset County, Kevin Nixon and Elijah Carroll have been indicted.
However, the County States Attorneys Office says new evidence found by investigators has forced them to drop their charges and the will force the case to change jurisdictions.
According to police reports, back in October, Nixon was allegedly driving a car with Carroll Jennings and Jazzmine Morton.
A verbal altercation allegedly led to Carroll stabbing Jennings to death. The three friends then left Jennings’ body in the woods, and ten days later, Nixon and Morton reportedly came back to get the body and dispose of it Somerset County.
Charges for Morton were dropped in Baltimore back in May, however new murder charges will be brought against Nixon and Carroll in Baltimore County.
