Two arrested with 500 bags of heroin

The Dover Police Street Crimes Unit and Delaware Probation and Parole have reportedly arrested two people following a traffic stop on Monday afternoon.
Officials say the traffic stop took place at Webbs Lane and South DuPont Highway in Dover, and was the result of a drug investigation.
According to the report, around 2 PM, Isaac Jones, 32, and Chelsea Curtis, 29, were found to be in possession of more than 500 bags of heroin, 3.9 grams of crack cocaine, and $759 in drug proceeds.
Officials say as a result of the incident, Jones was committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in default $56,000 secured bond on the following charges:
- Possession with intent to deliver heroin
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Conspiracy second degree
- Possession of a tier five quantity heroin
- Delivery of heroin
- Possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine
- Violation of probation
Officials also say that Curtis was committed to Baylor Women’s Correctional Center in default of $46,000 on the following charges:
- Possession with intent to deliver heroin
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Conspiracy second degree
- Possession of a tier five quantity heroin
- Possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine
