Troopers trying to identify credit card theft suspect

Delaware State Police say they are currently investigating the theft of a credit card and are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

On Monday, an unknown male suspect was apparently able to obtain the credit card of a customer at the Wawa located at 1750 Kirkwood Hwy in Newark.

Officials say the suspect then proceeded to use the credit card at several area businesses. According to the report, the suspect may be driving a burgundy Chevrolet HHR.

If anyone knows the identity of the pictured suspect, they are asked to contact Corporal John Dudzinski at Troop 6, at 302-633-5000. Information may also be provided by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
