Troopers say they are investigating a fatal Camden motorcycle crash

The Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit state they are currently investigating a fatal crash that occurred west of Camden.

According to police, the accident happened somewhere between 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2016 and 7:34 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2016. Investigators claim 47-year-old William H. Ebert of Felton was operating a 2005 Suzuki GX6 motorcycle heading eastbound on Henry Cowgill Road and was attempting a left curve.

Police state that he continued through the front yard before traveling in between two trees and entering a thicket of tall grass and weeds, where he was allegedly ejected from the motorcycle.

Ebert had been reportedly missing since August 13, 2016. Investigators say Ebert was wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit say they are continuing their investigation into this incident.
