Seaford man reportedly arrested on drug charges

On Tuesday, City of Seaford Police Officers and officers from the Delaware State Police Troop 5 say they contacted a defendant during a traffic stop.
Around 5:30 PM, officers reportedly contacted caught up with Donald White, 22, of Seaford, while conducting a traffic stop. Officers apparently could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle and saw drug paraphernalia in plain view within the vehicle too.
According to the report, officers removed the White from the vehicle when he tried to run away and throw down the heroin.
While officers reportedly tried to take White into custody, he put up a struggle.
Officers say that White was eventually subdued and they recovered 12 bags of heroin, 12 bags of marijuana and $596 in suspected drug proceeds. White was reportedly arraigned at JPCourt #2 by videophone and released on $6000 unsecured bond.
He was apparently charged with:
- Possession controlled substance, Heroin- Tier 1 quantity
- Possession of Marijuana other than personal use
- Possession of Marijuana with intent to deliver
- Resisting Arrest
- Tampering with physical evidence
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Fail to give proper turn signal
