Salisbury kicks off first-ever ‘Fridays At Five’

Friday marked kick off night for ‘Fridays At Five’.
The new initiative is through the city’s Arts & Entertainment District.
Every Friday through the end of October, North Division Street will be used for the community to spend outside. We’re told some activities include corn hole, ladder ball, hula hoops, and can jams.
Jamie Heater, executive director of the Salisbury Arts & Entertainment District, says folks can come out between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. with the event taking place between the intersection of Church Street and east Main Street.
“This really is intended to create the attitude that there’s always something going on every weekend in Downtown Salisbury,” says Heater. “It’s just a quick two hour outdoor gathering to kick off the weeks and give people the excuse to come downtown to celebrate.”
While the event will take place every Friday through October, it will not replace Third Friday’s on the Downtown Plaza.
