Robbery and assault reported in Cambridge on Sunday

The Cambridge Police Department says they responded to reports of a robbery on Academy street, on Sunday.
Officers reportedly made contact with the victims, who claimed that while they were walking home, they came across three suspects sitting on a porch in the Academy Street area, when one of the suspects asked for a cigarette.
One of the victims reportedly said an argument began, and one of the suspects got up off the porch, and began assaulting one of the victims.
Officials say a suspect then went into the victim’s pockets and removed a pack of cigarettes, while the other two suspects then joined in the assault.
According to the report, officers were able to identify the suspect that started the assault and theft of cigarettes as Brandon Williams, 21, of Cambridge.
Williams was reportedly arrested and charged with robbery, assault second degree, and theft. Officials say that Williams is being held in the Dorchester County Detention Center on a $45,000 bond, and the two other suspects were identified as Allyssa Kemp, 21, and Joshua Reigle,19, both of Cambridge.
According to the report, Kemp and Reigle were both charged with assault second degree and was released on their own recognizance pending trial.
