REMINDER: Last day to sign up to attend Wor-Wic Community College for FREE

Wicomico County approved the Wicomico Economic Impact Scholarship, allowing new Wicomico County, MD high school graduates and Maryland High School Diploma completors to attend Wor-Wic Community College for free.

In order to qualify for free tuition and fees, you must have been a Wicomico County resident for two years, have completed all your high school graduation requirements, and have an annual family income of $75,000 or less.

In order to receive the scholarship, you must register for 12 credits per semester and maintain a 2.0 GPA each semester you are at Wor-Wic.

You must act now to take advantage of this scholarship! 

To be eligible, you must:

  •     Complete a Wor-Wic Community College Application
  •     Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA); and
  •     Complete a Wicomico Economic Impact Scholarship Application

You must complete these application requirements by July 29, 2016.  In addition, you will need to attend an orientation and registration session that will be held in August.
