Police report armed robbery at Shore Shop

The Laurel Police Department are investigating an armed robbery at the Shore Shop that occurred early Sunday morning.

Police say at approximately 3:00 a.m., a male entered the shop, located on 405 N. Central Ave. and flashed what appeared to be a shotgun. 

The suspect then ordered the clerk to give him all the money and then went behind the counter and took a total of $29.72. 

According to police, the suspect was described as a black male, 25-30 years of age. He was approximately 6’00” tall, average build, and was last seen wearing a dark blue nylon hoody with a thick black stripe running down the sleeves and across the shoulders, bright blue scarf, black nylon running pants and a pair of white in color tennis sneakers.
