Police: Alcohol considered a factor in crash, one charged

Police say one person was charged following a two vehicle crash, where alcohol is being considered as a factor.
According to state troopers, the crash happened around 5:30 p.m. Saturday near Route 113 at Route 610.
We’re told a truck driven by Frankford man Jesus Urrita struck the rear of another truck driven by Warnick, New York resident Mark McSweeney.
Urrita reportedly suffered minor injuries.
When troopers contacted Urrita, they say a strong odor of alcoholic beverage was detected on his breath and person.
He was transported to the PRMC in Salisbury and later charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol and negligent driving.
