One arrested in Cambridge after a report of sexual assault

Cambridge Police Detectives say they were called to investigate a sexual assault at a hotel, on Wednesday.
Detectives reportedly met with the victim who said that while walking to her room at the Best Value Inn on Ocean Gateway, she was approached by a man who forced his way into her room, and then assaulted her forcibly.
He apparently threw her down on the bed, and removed her clothing. According to the report, the victim says that she was then raped by the man.
Investigation allowed detectives to reportedly identify the man as Jose Ramirez-Acevedo, 59, of Florida.
Ramirez-Acevedo was apparently located, and placed under arrest before being charged with first and second degree rape, first and second degree sex offense, false imprisonment, third and fourth degree burglary, and assault.
Officials say Ramirez-Acevedo is being held in the Dorchester County Detention Center on no bond.
