Ocean City Woman reportedly suffers back and leg injuries after jet ski collision in Fenwick Ditch

A woman was reportedly injured after her jet ski collided with a power boat in Fenwick Ditch, Thursday afternoon.

According to police, 52-year-old Rose Ann Seaman of Ocean City was taken to Christiana Hospital in Newark, after her Yamaha Jetski hit a 30-foot center console Power Boat driven by 64-year-old Stanford Thomas Moore, Jr of Selbyville.

Seaman then reportedly fell from the jet ski onto the water, and was struck by the power boat’s propeller under water.

Maryland DNR police say Seaman was taken to a dock, and later flown by Delaware State Police to Christiana Hospital. She reportedly suffered injuries to her back and leg.

Maryland DNR police say the jet ski was impounded.

Charges are reportedly pending, but police say that investigation is ongoing and they are awaiting toxicology results.
