MSP investigate dog killing in Mardela Springs

Lieutenant Tim Robinson from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that Maryland State Police are investigating the killing of a dog in Mardela Springs.

Robinson explains that the incident happened on or around July 30. A Fox Red Labrador was reported deceased off to the side of Riverton Road. Police then later determined the dog had been shot.

Troopers are investigating the incident, and are asking anyone with knowledge about what may have happened to contact Crime Solvers at 410-548-1776. Callers may remain anonymous.
