Millsboro man arrested for harassment and disorderly conduct

The Millsboro Police say they arrested a man for harassment and disorderly conduct on Monday afternoon.
Officers reportedly got a call from a woman who said a man was harassing her by asking her to get in his car. The victim apparently said that when she declined the offer, the man began to harass her and continued to invite her in for a ride.
Officials say the woman was able to get away from the suspect and she was able to give a description of him and his car registration number to the police.
Millsboro Officers reportedly were familiar with the described suspect as he has been contacted by the police regarding similar complaints, and when officers checked the area, they were apparently able to find the suspect vehicle close to Cupola Park.
Through the Millsboro Police Department’s investigation, Russell Munson, 71, of Millsboro, was reportedly arrested and charged with one count of harassment, and one count of disorderly conduct.
Officials say Munson was arraigned at the Justice of the Peace Court 3 where he plead guilty to both criminal charges, was ordered to pay a fine, and was ordered not to have any contact in Cupola Park for a period of one year.
The Millsboro Police Department says they encourage the community to contact the police if they see Russell Munson in or around the Cupola Park area.
