Md. governor expected to deliver closing address at MACO

Governor Larry Hogan is on the Eastern Shore this weekend making his first appearance at the MACO conference as leader of the state.
Hogan is expected to deliver the closing address Saturday.
Last year, the governor was unable to attend because he was in the hospital getting treatments for non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
47ABC caught up with him Friday, and he tells us his speech will focus on progress the state has made.
“We have record funding for education two years in a row, we’ve created 74,000 jobs…best year for business in Maryland in eight years so a lot of stuff to be pleased with but we’re just getting started and we have a lot more work to do,” says Governor Hogan.
The speech is scheduled for around 11:15 a.m.
