Man reportedly suffers neck injuries after jumping off pier in Ocean City
A man suffered neck injuries after reportedly jumping off of a pier on Ocean City’s bayside Saturday afternoon.
According to officials, a 20 year old man, was airlifted to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, after he reportedly jumped off of a pier on 45th street at about 5:15 PM.
The pier was reportedly not that high, and the man jumped in shallow water.
Officials say there is no ongoing investigation into the incident.
The man’s condition is reportedly unknown at the time.
