Man reportedly arrested in drug dealing investigation

The Delaware State Police, working with the United States Marshals Task Force and the Dover Police Department, have reportedly arrested Traymere Stevens.
On August 10, officials say Stevens ran from the Delaware State Police through the Dover Mall during a drug dealing investigation.
According to the report, Stevens discarded and attempted to hide a large amount of heroin during the chase. Officers say in the ongoing investigation, information was received that led the Delaware State Police, the United States Marshals Task Force with the assistance of the Dover Police Department, to a home on Water Street.
On Monday, August 22, Stevens was reportedly taken into custody in reference to active drug dealing warrants. Stevens was apparently taken into custody without incident after he was found hiding in an attic area.
According to the report, Stevens was charged with possession of a controlled substance in a tier 3 quantity, possession of controlled substance in a tier 2 quantity with intent to deliver, tampering with physical evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.
Officials say Stevens was arraigned at the Justice of the Peace Court 2 and then committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Institute in default of $34,000 secured bail.
