MACO conference wraps up

Today officially wraps the MACO conference. People from all over the state of Maryland got the chance to address problems and discuss issues that were important to them.

Today included a buffet breakfast session, hosted by the Maryland Medical Cannabis commission where they discussed the review of the 811 dispensary applications and 146 grower applications since the legalization of medical marijuana by the Maryland General Assembly in 2014. The conference also included a conversation about the reconstruction of public school facilities.

47 ABC caught up with Governor Larry Hogan at the Wicomico County fair today to ask him what he hoped will come from this years conference.

“I think we are all going to work together on major issues like transportation, infrastructure, was one of the main things we talked about – the environment in the Chesapeake bay and continuing to move forward on job creation we’ve added 74,000 jobs in this state 1but not every single county sees that so we’re not going to quit until every county sees some new jobs,” said Hogan
