Incumbents secure seats as commissioners

Two incumbents have held onto their seats as commissioners for Rehoboth Beach following elections Saturday.
Incumbents Stan Mills collected 688 votes while Toni Sharp collected 609 votes.
We’re told Rick Perry secured 473 votes.
Overall, there were 767 walk-in votes cast in Saturday’s election with 299 absentee votes. This reportedly brought a grand total of 1,066 votes in Rehoboth Beach.
The winners will be sworn into office on September 16 at a regular commissioners meeting before they begin to serve three-year terms.
