Hurlock man facing theft charges after string of burglaries

A Hurlock man is being charged in connection to multiple burglaries in Dorchester County within the past year.

According to the Dorchester County Sheriff’s office, Wayne Jenkins, was arrested earlier this week.He was apparently wanted in connection with three burglaries. One at Kool’s Car Wash back in September of 2015 and two burglaries at Russell’s Barber Shop, one in October 2015 and one just last month.

Jenkins is facing a series of charges, including six counts of theft and seven counts of fourth degree burglary. He was ordered to be held on bond.
