Homework Help Centers re-open at Wicomico Public Libraries

Wicomico Public Libraries has announced the re-opening of the Downtown Library Homework Help Center.
The Downtown Homework Help Center will officially open on Monday, September 12, and hours for the center are Mondays & Wednesdays 3-5 PM, Tuesdays & Thursdays 4-8 PM, and Sundays 1-5 PM.
In addition, the Pittsville Branch Library will now also offer a Homework Help Center, which will open on Tuesday, September 13. Hours for the Pittsville Homework Help Center are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-6 PM.
Trained and dedicated volunteers will be available to provide homework assistance to students in grades K-12 at both locations.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Libraries, library officials say that these spaces are dedicated to providing a positive work space where children can successfully complete their homework and thereby increase their potential for success in school.
The Homework Help Centers also provide free use of school supplies, laptops, iPads and color printouts for school related assignments.

Wicomico Public Libraries are located in Downtown Salisbury, the Centre at Salisbury, in Pittsville, and the Library Bookmobile.
