Harrington teen to face trial for allegedly murdering his father

A trial date has been set for the Harrington teen charged in the murder of his father last December.

According to the Delaware Department of Justice, Seth Ramsey will reportedly face trial in September 12 in Kent County for allegedly using a crossbow to kill his own father. Ramsey was indicted on a first degree murder charge in July.

The charges stem from Ramsey apparently skipping school on the day of the murder last winter. Court documents say Ramsey knew when his father came out of his bedroom of his Harrington home, he would be mad, so he shot him with a crossbow.

The body of Todd Ramsey was found on December 11th. Police say his body had been there a few days.
