H.S. Football Preview: Seaford Blue Jays

The Seaford Blue Jays football team is looking to buck their recent history, and have a season to be proud of in 2016. Seaford’s program has struggled lately, going 1-19 their past 2 seasons, and haven’t won a conference game since 2010. But 2016 represents a fresh start, and an opportunity to break that trend.

The Blue Jays enter their 2nd season under head coach Dwyane Henry. While they are still a young team, the Blue Jays do bring back a couple players in key positions, including on the offensive line. Seaford will now turn to sophomore Isiah Lake to take over under center. Its a tall task, but the team is determined to help raise Seaford back to the stature the program once stood.

Seaford opens up the season on September 9th when they host Glasgow.
