Georgetown structure fire under investigation

The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office says they are investigating a fire, in Georgetown, that caused severe fire damage to a maintenance structure housing lawn and turf equipment.
The blaze apparently happened in area of Sussex Pines Road and Sussex Pines Golf & Country Club, and was reported around 10:45 AM.
Firefighters say they arrived to find heavy fire showing from the structure and the Georgetown Volunteer Fire Comany, helped by Millsboro, Indian River, Milton, and Ellendale fire companies, put out the flames.
According to the report, the no one was in the building at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
Deputies from the State Fire Marshal’s Office reportedly responded to the scene to determine the origin and cause of the blaze, however, the investigation is still pending determination at this time.
Officials say that damages to the structure and equipment is listed at approximately $75,000.
