Georgetown-area home invasion under investigation

Members of the Delaware State Police say a 24-year-old woman was held against her will in her home early Wednesday morning, by three men.

Police say the victim was in her home around 12:45 AM Wednesday, and upon exiting her bathroom was confronted by three men.

The woman reportedly told police the men came running at her, one armed with an unknown type of handgun, who held her on the ground.

Troopers say once on the ground, the suspects tied the victim’s hands behind her back and covered her head before ransacking her house.

The victim’s jewelry was reportedly taken, and the suspects fled the home.

Police say the first suspect was described as white male, 6’00” to 6’02” tall, weighing 150-170 lbs., wearing all dark clothing and armed with an unknown type handgun.
The other two suspects were only described as black males.
