Dover police investigate apparent home shooting

The Dover Police Department says it is investigating a shooting at a home in the Village of Westover development on Sunday night.

Officials reported that around  11:45 PM, officers responded to the 300 Block of Charring Cross Drive for a shots fired call.

According to the report, when they arrived, they saw that a home in that area was hit by a shotgun round.  The home was occupied at the time, but no injuries apparently resulted from the shooting.
