Crisfield group requests endorsement from the city

The City of Crisfield is continuing their efforts to rebuild and boost their economy. One group contributing is the Greater Crisfield Action Coalition. Officials from the group released a five year action plan that focuses on areas like marketing Crisfield as a tourist destination and developing its workforce. The group is now asking the city to officially endorse the group to bring potential funding opportunities and accomplish their goals for the city.

Charlotte Scott, the President of the Greater Crisfield Action Coalition says, “It’s important that your city be on board. It’s important that you city endorses you as a legitimate organization to work with and help Crisfield. And when you look at funders they want to know that the city is endorsing this.”

The council will decide on this tomorrow at 6 PM during their council meeting.
