Body found in Choptank River reportedly identified

Maryland Department of Natural Resources police says that they have identified a body that was recovered from the Choptank River in August.

According to DNR police, the body recovered from Horn Point near the Choptank River in Cambridge on August 2 has been identified as 63-year-old Edward Aasvik, of Easton, who reportedly went missing last November from his boat.

Officials are reportedly awaiting toxicology results to determine the cause of death.
