yeah, we’ve been rolling and today officially marks two weeks, we’re rolling out two more today, with our first stop being about 30 minutes west of here. into a city that some call groove. big things are expected out of the cambridge south dorchester vikings as another football season begins. track death, taxes, and cambridge south dorchester football entering yet another season with wealthy expectations. the presumption that the vikings are the favorite for the 1a east region this year is not far-fetched, seeing that they’ve been a shoe-in for the game over the past five seasons. its very very tough to do as a small school, but its been done before, you just have to stay consistent, which we’ve gotten the program to be consistent. hopefully we can be just one of another good team that cambridge’s has had. track one of the biggest holes the vikings will have to fill, is at the quarterback position, where csd graduated honorable mention all state signal caller nate lowe. at the quarterback position, we typically try to identify those guys with promise and we bring them up as a sophomore and let em learn. so last year, tyler harding came up, watched as a sophomore, and hopefully he’s ready. i feel like tyler can match up, i feel like we havent lost no power from lomast year. so we’re just ready i believe we got it. track a new quarterback’s best friend is an experienced, talented running back. harding will have that in senior slot tre lake. lake racked up over 1600 yards on the ground last season and expected to have a bigger 2016. he’s every where on the field he just gives 100 everyday practice, games it doesnt matter. he’s gonna hopefully be able to take alot of pressure off of tyler and you know he hopefully he’s gonna set up our play action game and some other things that we want to do. so yeah its big. track as far as the next step to bring another title to cambridge? the vikings know it starts with them. the only thing i believe you can do is focus on yourself. focus on getting better every day, and thats the best way in my opinion to get thru the grind. we know that if we work hard enough, we’ll be there. cambridge kicks off this season at home, we know viking stadium will be rocking just five days from today when they take on wi-hi. on to some diamond notes now, and to start the orioles have been putrid in their last couple of outings against the yankees. they were back this afternoon trying to salvage a game in the series. scoreless game all the way til the 6th when new but old oriole steve peirce takes cc sabathia deep over the left field wall. cc would be pulled after the o’s loaded the bases up in the seventh, and guess who’s up? pierce. a shot up the middle that’s gonna score two more. baltimore takes a 3-0 lead, and cc’s like, i could’ve done that. in the top of the 8th mark trumbo’s up, and mark trumbo’s out. first player in mlb to 40 home runs as the o’s get back on track with a 5-0 win. we’re heading back over to the gridiron for our play of the day and with this hit, i officially declare football season to be here. titans linebacker sean spence with a shot on raiders running back de’andre washington. a clean perfect hit, and if im washington im getting into my qb’s ear a little for hanging me out to dry with a line backer closing in. that’s it for sports. weather just ahead- keep it right here — you’re watching 47 abc – delmarva’s trust source for news. catch more
