on with our high school football previews. who we taking a look at this time? yeah that’s right julian its been a lot of fun doing this, getting the sneak peak at ourhigh school teams.. and we are now officially less than a week away from the opening day kickoff i cant wait our high school football tour picks back up tonight as this time we make a trip over to camden to check out the riders 47abc’s travon miles stopped caesar rodney’s camp, and has an inside look at this years team track in 2015, caesar rodney galloped into a brick wall, resulting in just two wins for head coach dan candelero in his inaugural season. after splitting time with senior brian lewis last season, junior jared wagenhoffer steps in as the number one guy. jared is tough competitor, a very good student of the game. so were looking for big things from him as a leader on and off the field. pushing my guys to strive for greatness, and pushing the team, and getting wins you know. last year we went two and 8 it was a learning year but i think teams should be nervous, were coming out strong. track and the riders will have to come with it out the gate, notorious for constantly scheduling the top teams in the state of delaware, the riders know the competition gets no easier this season. we start off with two strong games, middletown away and sallies away, we definitely have to come out strong and it starts with practice, you know, camp went very well so were excited this year. we started back in january getting prepared for this, lifting and running, trying to get ourselves physically and mentally prepared for this long haul. were kind of self induced in our tough schedule but you know what it’ll definitely pay off down the road to see these good teams. track cr graduated 21 seniors from last years squad, but return alot of players that earned substantial playing time a year ago. i feel good, i feel like we’re all coming together, just pushing each other more and more. so im confident about this year. we got some good juniors, that got some playing time last year. and we had a good sophomore bunch we are gonna miss our seniors that left but again its next man up its a new year. track travon miles, 47abc. c-r opens up their season on september 9th when they travel to play middletown. and speaking of high school football todays the day for our 2nd annual, dsi coaches conference. if you love high school football, you absolutely cannot miss this. we’ve going to have 8 coaches coming to the studio, were previewing all 27 of our maryland and delaware teams. we’ll also be releasing our very first power rankings! its all going down in about 30 minutes, so don’t even think about changing that dial, cause this is something you cant afford to miss. and the orioles were on the road again today as they took on the yankees not a bad day for chris davis this the first of his 2 home runs but the bronx bombers were playing long ball all day as well starlin castro.. with a man on.. and he gets all of that one for his 18th of the season that gave new york a 3 run lead.. but they were far from done aarron hicks then gets a 2 run homer of his own yankees end up taking this one big, 13-5 the final that’s it for sports. weather still ahead- keep it right here — you’re watching 47 abc – delmarva’s trust source for
