Wicomico Co. and Worcester Co. to host Zika Town Hall

Wicomico County and Worcester County will host a state Zika Awareness Town Hall Monday August 1.

The event will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. the Tri-County Council building in Salisbury.

The main speaker will deputy secretary of public health services for Maryland, Dr. Howard Haft. 

We’re told Haft will go over the history of zika, prevention tips and answer general questions about the zika virus. 

The town hall is free to attend but space is limited.
