Vaughan running for Del. District 20 representative

A former Lewes City Council member has filed her candidacy for the House of Representatives.
Barbara Vaughan, democrat, filed her official candidacy Tuesday morning in Georgetown, meaning she will facing incumbent Stephen Smyk for the 20th district seat this November.
Vaughan currently serves as a Commissioner for the Lewes Public Library. She was appointed to the Lewes Planning Commission after stepping down from the City Council.
She says improving transportation and related infrastructure within District 20 and Eastern Sussex County is a top priority.
Smyk, republican, was elected to the Delaware House of Representatives in 20-12.
