UPDATE: Trial and Criminal Motions set for former Pocomoke police chief and lieutenant

50-year-old Lynell Green of Pasadena, 53-year-old Kelvin Sewell of Severn.

A trial and criminal motions have been set for a former Pocomoke police chief and a former Pocomoke lieutenant charged with misconduct in office.

According to court documents, criminal motions for Lynell Green have been scheduled for October 5 at 9:30 AM and Green’s trial has been set for December 1 at 9:30 AM.

Also according to court documents, criminal motions for Kelvin Sewell have been scheduled for October 5 at 9:30AM, and Sewell’s trial has been scheduled for November 21 at 9:30 AM.

Green, a former Pocomoke Police lieutenant and Sewell, former Pocomoke police chief, were charged with misconduct in office after they reportedly got involved in an investigation into a car crash to help a local correctional officer, Douglas Matthews. The incident reportedly happened in November 2014.

Both men were also charged with Conspiracy to commit Misconduct in Office, and both men will have criminal jury trials.
