UPDATE: Inmate wanted in Dover has been apprehended
Update: Officials say that Sturgeon voluntarily returned to the Morris Community Corrections Center, and was charged with escape after conviction and is in the custody of the Department of Correction.

Law enforcement in Delaware say they are searching for an inmate, who never returned from an authorized work pass.
The Delaware Department of Correction says that 22-year-old Charles Sturgeon left the Morris Community Corrections Center in Dover, on an authorized work pass, but never went back. Officials say efforts to locate this offender have been unsuccessful.
Officials say Level 4 facilities are for offenders who are transitioning back into the community, and are not secured like level 5 prisons. Offenders are allowed to leave the building for work, to look for a job, or attend approved treatment sessions.
Sturgeon is described as a white man, standing 6′ 3″ tall, weighing 170 pounds, with blue eyes, and brown hair. He is also apparently known for going by Charles C. Sturgeon, and Seth Sturgeon.
Sturgeon is serving time for a violation of probation on a theft $1,500 charge. Anyone with information on Sturgeon’s whereabouts is asked to call 1-800-542-9524, or their local police department.
