A gold alert has been activated for a missing Delmar woman. Delaware State Police say they have issued a Gold Alert for 49-year-old Betty Turner, of Delmar.

She apparently hasn’t been been seen or heard from since around 10:30 AM, on Friday, after she called her workplace. Police say there is a concern for Turner’s welfare, since Troopers haven’t been able to locate her, and attempts to contact her have been unsuccessful.

Turner is described by Police as 5’03” tall, weighs approximately 145 lbs., and has brown hair and brown eyes. She apparently may be driving a white 1999 Nissan Altima, that has a broken window covered in a plastic bag, and Delaware licence plate 965905.
