UPDATE: Arrest made in connection with three Kent County robberies

Jeremy T. Lobaccaro, 38, of Dover

Delaware State Police say they arrested a man, early Friday morning, in connection with several robberies that occurred earlier in July.

On Tuesday, in the first incident the suspect reportedly robbed a Canterbury Shore Stop in Felton, and demanded money from the register, holding the cashier at gunpoint. According to reports, on Thursday during the second incident, the same suspect entered a Walmart on Jerome Drive in Dover, where he stole three BB guns and then left the store.

Also on Thursday, authorities say that the suspect went into a Royal Farms on Fast Landing Road, and confronted an employee with a handgun while demanding money from the register.

Around 12:40 AM on Friday, a trooper was reportedly performing business checks, around East Lebanon Road and South State Street, when he saw a man in the parking lot of Calvary Church.

The trooper says they made contact with Jeremy T. Lobaccaro, 38, of Dover, and saw what appeared to be a black handgun near him. According to the report, Lobaccaro was placed in custody and transported back to Troop 3, where detectives took over the investigation.

Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit say that they were able to link Lobaccaro to the robberies through surveillance photos and an anonymous tip.

Lobaccaro was then reportedly charged with two counts of robbery first degree, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, two counts of wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, and shoplifting. Officials say that Lobaccaro was then committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $110,500 cash bond.
