Authorities in Dover say they are searching for an inmate, who did not return from an authorized pass.
The Morris Community Corrections Center in Dover says that 32-year-old Tyree Lockett has failed to return from an authorized work pass.
Lockett is described by law enforcement as a male, standing 6’04”, weighing 205 pounds, with a bald head, and brown eyes. He reportedly uses the alias Gregory Lockett, and his last known address is in Dover, Delaware.
Officials say that Lockett’s location is unknown, and unauthorized at this time, so a warrant for escape and conviction has been issued. According to the report, Lockett’s current offense is violation of probation for a charge of theft less than $1,500.
It is important to keep in mind that Community Corrections Centers are Level 4 facilities, where the Department of Correction manages offenders who are transitioning back into the community. So, these centers are not secured like Level 5 prisons, meaning offenders are permitted to the leave the facility to go to work, seek jobs or attend approved treatment sessions.
