Suspect arrested after Dover Jiffy Lube burglary

A 23-year-old man was arrested early Friday morning after Dover Police say he broke into a Jiffy Lube.

Investigators say, around 1:00 AM, an employee responded to the business located on South DuPont Highway after being notified of an alarm. When they arrived, they reportedly saw a broken garage door window and notified police. According to reports a witness told police they say Ian Paddock running from the business a short time earlier. While police were on scene, Paddock was reportedly seen crossing US RT 13 near the business and was quickly apprehended by police without incident.

Police say, Paddock was released after posting bond. He is being charged with third degree burglary, criminal mischief, and theft.
