Stolen quad recovered in Cambridge, one arrested

 A man is facing charges after police say he was found riding a stolen quad in Cambridge.

The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office says the Cambridge Police Department contacted deputies after 19-year-old Keizye Collins was caught riding a four-wheeler inside the city limits. Police say that the ATV had been stolen on June 30, from a property on Hambrooks Boulevard.

After being taken into custody, Collins was charged by the Sheriff’s Office with second degree burglary, fourth degree burglary to commit theft, malicious destruction of property under $500 and theft over $1,000 but under $10,000.

He was additionally charged by the Cambridge Police Department with numerous violations. Collins was then ordered to be held at the Dorchester County Detention Center on a $20,000 bond.
