Robbery reported in Dover Home Depot parking lot

The Dover Police Department says they are investigating a robbery that happened early Saturday morning in a Home Depot parking lot.

According to the report, around 2:20 AM, the victim was on break at a nearby business and went for a walk wearing a headset listening to music.

As the victim was walking through the Home Depot parking lot near North DuPont Highway, he was reportedly hit from behind and assaulted by two suspects. Officials say the suspects stole the victim’s wallet and his bluetooth headset before running away.

The suspects reportedly were two men, but no further description could be provided by the victim.
