One arrested on assault charges in Easton

An Easton man is facing charges, after Police say he stole a set of wheels from a home, and assaulted someone on the property.

Easton Police say on June 3, 20-year-old Thomas Long, along with several others, blocked a man in, as he was trying to leave a property on Ocean Gateway. During the incident, Long also allegedly assault the man, before stealing a set of wheels from the property, and damaging a vehicle.

On Wednesday, Officers arrested Long, and charged him with assault second degree, false imprisonment, conspiracy to commit false imprisonment, 2 counts of trespass on posted property, 2 counts of burglary forth degree, theft under $100, and malicious destruction of property.

He was then ordered to be held on a $2,500 bail.
