One arrested in Dover after reportedly being found with cocaine

The Dover Police Street Crimes Unit working with Delaware Probation and Parole, say they arrested a man on drug charges, on Thursday.

According to the report, around 4:00 PM, Norman Singleton, 38, was pulled over in a traffic stop in the parking lot of the Dover Inn. Officials say that Singleton ran from the car, but was caught across the street at US Gas.

The report stated that Officials searched Singleton, and found a little over 9 grams of crack cocaine packaged for redistribution in his possession.

Singleton was charged with of possession with the intent to deliver crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine tier one quantity, endangering the welfare of a child, resisting arrest, and possession drug paraphernalia, before being committed to JTVCC on $17,500 cash bond.
